Van Gogh Nails
I've been searching for this minty color of nail polish for the longest time.
Chanel came out with the perfect shade, but I have yet to find it.
And yes...I wanted it so bad that I was willing
to pay the $23 for a measely .5 oz.
Well I went to visit my friend Brittany last night
and remembered that she had this minty polish from OPI.
So she let me borrow it and this was the end result.
New year's resolution: MUST STOP BITING NAILS!

Holiday in West Texas
I spent the holiday in West Texas.
I didn't really take pictures of the actual landscape,
because trust me...your not missing anything.
But I did snap a few random pics.
Me and Dad
Light bulb shaped Santa
I think these are actually dog treats.
But very festive!
Ahhh...childhood.
And what Christmas isn't complete
without a plush Superman?
Hehe.
Hope everyone's holiday was grand!

Festive Feline
Kitty loves the holidays because she can play with all the boxes and ribbons.
Sometimes it's cute...other times not so cute.
Like when she eats ribbon during the night
and wakes me up throwing up at 5 in the morning!
YUCK!
Don't worry...I didn't get a pic of that one.

Sunday Stroll
It was unseasonably warm yesterday, so we took a stroll after brunch.
Then I asked Jonathan to take some pictures of me.
So he did...and 99% of them turned out too saturated by sun.
He usually takes good pics of me, but these...not so much.
He always insists that I pose too much.
What can I say...I'm not a model!

Tokyo Street Style
I'm obsessed with Japanese fashion. They always dress so fab!
Here's just a few hot styles strutting the streets in Tokyo.

Seeing Stars
Can you see the little stars on the back of my tights?
They are so cute!
I'm totally in love with them.
But one con is that they are actual "pantyhose" which I'm totally not used to,
so by the end of the day I had the beginnings of runs all over them.
I have a feeling they won't last long.

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas...
I'm trying to make our place look as festive as possible.
Minus a tree since mine is in storage buried beneath lots of stuff.
But I think it's coming along quite well.
(Except for the pumpkins we still have sitting next to our door.
Gotta get rid of those!)

Parisian Floral
The Dallas Galleria just put in the most ginormous Forever 21.
It was awesome!
So big I actually didn't have time to see every part of it.
Anyway, I got this sweater and absolutely love it.
Very Parisian, huh?
Au revoir!

Glitz and Glamour
I hope you had a chance to catch the
Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Tuesday night.
If not...you missed glitz and glamour...a lots of bronzed skin of course.
I look forward to this show every year
because I secretly want to be a costume designer
(along with a wedding planner, interior designer, and florist just to name a few)
A few of my fave get-ups
Isn't Doutzen Kroes the most beautiful thing you've ever seen?
I have to say that Heidi Klum's hyped up appearance was a little dissapointing.
Yes, she had a baby a couple months ago,
but I didn't expect her to be so covered up.
Oh well...I still love her and she will remain one of my favorites!

Let it Snow!
I woke up this morning and much to my surprise
SNOW WAS FALLING!
I was just going about my business, about to head out for work,
and I look out the window and it was coming down quite heavy.
Then I screamed and woke up Jonathan and couldn't stop staring out the window.
Too bad it all melted by noon. (once again...it's Texas people!)
Isn't it ironic that this was on my daily desk calendar?
Nevermind the creepy orange eyes.
It's supposed to snow again later this week.
I'm crossing my fingers...

Oh the weather outside is frightful...
Temperatures are starting to drop which means one thing...it's time to bundle up!
It's a love-hate relationship for fashionistas who detest the cold,
but love to put together chic winter ensembles.
Here's a few warm items I'm digging this season...
All I know is I have a lot more fun getting dressed in the morning than I did this summer.
Bring on the frigid temps! (not that it gets that cold in Texas)

Holiday in Santa Fe
We spent Thankgiving in Santa Fe with my mom and family.
The weather was perfect, the air was crisp,
and inspiration surrounded me.
I was excited to spend time with their adorable dogs
...Polly and Barney
*If you haven't visited Santa Fe...
I highly recommend to go during the holidays.
It's quite beautiful.
Ciao!

Early Thanksgiving Feast
Last weekend we went to the lake to visit
my dad and have an early Thanksgiving of sorts.

Cookie Monster
Kitty didn't know what to think about the Oreo.
She just pawed at it, sniffed it and eventually got bored.

Hopefully it made her smile...

A Taste of Autumn
I'm totally in love with Fall and I'm trying to soak it in...
because in Texas you blink and it's gone.
Isn't this tree breathtaking?
I took this picture last year in Emporia, Kansas.
These were taken by the pond outside my office building.
HAPPY FALL!

Dog Day Afternoon
Vedel and Brittany brought over their adorable dogs
for an afternoon at the dog park.
"Puncher"
So cute!
"Vida"
Doesn't she look like Splinter from TMNT?
"Chevy"
Brittany and Chevy
Vedel and Puncher.
I love this dog and I want to steal him!
He was the cutest dog ever.
