Lady Gaga + Hello Kitty = PERFECTION

Okay, we all know I love Lady Gaga.
But I happen to love Hello Kitty even more.
(I try to keep my obsession to a minimum.)
What's better than having the two together?
(That's right...pretty much nothing!)

Well last night I watched Double Exposure where
they photographed Lady Gaga for the HK 35th anniversary
and it was AWESOME.

Check out these pics...

I want a dress adorned with stuffed Hello Kitties.
Oh well, a girl can dream!

Things I'm Lovin'

Totally digging the Chanel Resort 2011 runway collection.
I don't normally follow runway because there's way too
many designers to follow and if I follow one, I wanna
follow them all. And next thing I know I've spent
4 hours staring at a jillion pictures of beautiful models
wearing beautiful clothes.

But...I did catch a glimpse of the Chanel show
and was mesmerized!

Here's my fave looks...

They go all out for their love of fashion and pop culture.
So fab!

Wish I could see Lagy Gaga in concert here in Dallas,
but the I didn't get tickets in time and the show is sold out.

Springy

Too bad I probably will never buy any of this.
It's a little out of my price range.
But it still makes me happy to stare at it on the screen.
...and gives me ideas for jewelry making.
A lot of the necklaces are super easy to replicate
and most of the materials are things I already have at home.

Feeling Green

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Hopefully you can celebrate with your fellow green
comrades and have some irish beers at a cozy pub.

Walking on Rosebuds

So I've been wanting to wear these
cute rosebud printed socks for awhile now.
Finally got around to it.
It never ceases to amaze me how much
people stare at something slightly
out of the box like socks with sandals....
...weird.

Sweet Start to the Weekend

MIG which stands for "Made In Girl"
is a new free Japanese fashion magazine.

I absolutely love these images.
Cake hats and human HelloKitty!
Does that scream ME or what?

Van Gogh Nails

I've been searching for this minty color of nail polish for the longest time.
Chanel came out with the perfect shade, but I have yet to find it.
And yes...I wanted it so bad that I was willing
to pay the $23 for a measely .5 oz.

Well I went to visit my friend Brittany last night
and remembered that she had this minty polish from OPI.
So she let me borrow it and this was the end result.

New year's resolution: MUST STOP BITING NAILS!

Sunday Stroll

It was unseasonably warm yesterday, so we took a stroll after brunch.
Then I asked Jonathan to take some pictures of me.
So he did...and 99% of them turned out too saturated by sun.
He usually takes good pics of me, but these...not so much.
He always insists that I pose too much.
What can I say...I'm not a model!

Fashionista from the Far East

Susana, my co-worker from Hong Kong, has the best style.
She always dresses so cute!
I wish I caught more pics of her.
I fell in love with this UK flag sweater.

Isn't she pretty?

Glitz and Glamour

I hope you had a chance to catch the
Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Tuesday night.
If not...you missed glitz and glamour...a lots of bronzed skin of course.
I look forward to this show every year
because I secretly want to be a costume designer
(along with a wedding planner, interior designer, and florist just to name a few)

A few of my fave get-ups

Isn't Doutzen Kroes the most beautiful thing you've ever seen?

I have to say that Heidi Klum's hyped up appearance was a little dissapointing.
Yes, she had a baby a couple months ago,
but I didn't expect her to be so covered up.
Oh well...I still love her and she will remain one of my favorites!

Oh the weather outside is frightful...

Temperatures are starting to drop which means one thing...it's time to bundle up!
It's a love-hate relationship for fashionistas who detest the cold,
but love to put together chic winter ensembles.

Here's a few warm items I'm digging this season...

All I know is I have a lot more fun getting dressed in the morning than I did this summer.
Bring on the frigid temps! (not that it gets that cold in Texas)
