There's nothing better

than curling up with your dog and reading a magazine.

Shanks decided to lay all over me the other day

when I was reading House Beautiful.

Sometimes he thinks he's a lap dog, not a 40 lb. Border Collie mix.

None the less, I still hug him and squeeze him

even though he smells far from roses (and usually burps in my face)

He was laying on his back with his legs squeezed between the couch cushions.

He seemed quite comfy that way!

Cat Power

I've recently misplaced my memory card for my camera....

I have no idea where it could be.

So needless to say...no memory card = NO OUTFIT POSTS

But in the mean time you can enjoy adorable pictures of my cat

(I know I'm a bit of a crazy cat lady)

Kitty's looking for my memory card too.

Missing the beach...

Although I did have a lovely Labor Day weekend

I still wouldn't mind being on the beach.

As long as our pup and kitty-cat came along too!

Hey Shanks and Kitty...how do you feel about going to the beach?

The Beast

I haven't posted many pics of our new addition to the family

because he's mighty hard to get a good photo of!

He's almost always full of energy and I try to take

his picture but it only comes out as a blur.

Yesterday he found this poster tube by the trash can.

He was very excited to chew something that wasn't

his toy and didn't get take away from him.

(and trust me...he gets plenty taken away from him...

especially my favorite booties of which he chewed the tip off!)

He just the kindest, sweetest dog I've ever met.

Doesn't even bite Kitty when she freaks out and attacks him!

Oh Cat!

It was Jonathan's birthday, not Kitty's.

...geez I'm not that crazy!

I adopted Polka Dot a.ka. "Kitty" almost 4 years ago

from the SPCA (through PetSmart)

She's a crazy cat, but we love her.

She even became friends with Jonathan...

not quite friends with the dog yet though.

New Furry Friend

Last weekend we adopted this lovable pup.

His name is "Shanks".

He's a 1 1/2 year old Border Collie mix.

He's the sweetest and I love his little brown eyebrows!

Kitty has mixed feelings about Shanks.

When he comes around she tends to turn into a FatCat Ninja.

Hissing, then launching at him and hair goes flying.

It's quite hilarious and scary at the same time.

Hopefully she becomes less of a demon feline soon.
